January blues teszt megoldás
January Blues English gap filling answer
Michael
I know 15 what people mean when they say they get the ‘winter blues’ 16 as I also find the 17 lack of light in December and January can make me feel a bit down. The worst month for me is November, 18 though. There isn’t any more nice weather, the days get 19 much shorter, and it’s a long, long time until you can see signs of spring. You can’t even say Christmas is just 20 around the corner – it’s still a few weeks 21 away. I know some people say January is their 22 least favourite month, but in January I’m usually looking forward 23 to going skiing somewhere. I 24 always go skiing in January or February, usually in France. It’s one of the highlights of my year and 25 certainly makes winter much more 26 bearable.

I’ve never found January a 27 particularly difficult month to 28 get through. 29 In fact, I absolutely love those days in mid-winter when it’s sunny and freezing cold – it’s so invigorating, and you get gorgeous sunsets 30 as well. In weather like that my husband and I usually 31 take the dog out for a long walk in the country and stop off at our local pub on the 32 way back home – they always have a lovely 33 log fire and it’s so warm and cosy. Also, the thing with winter is that you don’t have 34 high expectations about the weather. 35 Obviously you don’t expect to be sitting in the garden or 36 having a barbecue. In July and August, though, that’s exactly 37 what you expect – and we’ve 38 hardly done it at all these last two summers because the weather 39 has been so cool and wet. Now that’s what I call 40 depressing.
