Mountain etiquette
Follow basic rules to stay safe on the mountain:
- You should/must/have to exit chair lifts quickly and move out of the way so others following you can/are able to exit safely.
- You mustn’t sit or stop in the middle of a slope or in blind spots. You have/need to move to the extreme right or left of the slope.
- Skiers must/have to slow down when slope signs say to slow.
- On crowded or narrow runs, you can/should/must/need to announce “on the left” or “on the right” when passing others.
- Downhill skiers and snowboarders have the right of way. If they have passed you can/may proceed.
Other good piecies of advice, which you may/might want to take:
1. When skiing you must/should always bent your knees.
2. On the slope you must/have to/need to pay attention to large objects and try not to bump into them.
3. Before skiing you shouldn’t/mustn’t eat a lot.
4. If you want to avoid sunburnt, you must/should/need to use sunscreen.
5. Before going to more advanced slopes, you should/must/need to ski really well.
6. For sitting in the bar, you don’t have to/don’t need to carry your ski equipment;)
