Summer holiday
In August Gordon 1) will have been/is being at his company for 25 years, and 2) he’s getting/he gets a bonus of three weeks paid holiday. So we’ve decided to hire a car and drive around Eastern Europe. 3) We’ll be leaving/We will have left towards the end of August and our aim is to visit as many countries as we can.
4) We will fly/We’re flying out to Budapest – we’re due to catch a plane on the 28th – and then 5) we will have stopped/we’ll be stopping over at a friend’s house before starting our grand tour. We 6) will probably spend/are probably spending a part of the week in Hungary. When we’ve finished there, 7) we’ll probably go/we’re probably going to Romania, but beyond that we haven’t planned too much and we haven’t made any arrangements.
We 8) are knowing/will know a bit more by the end of this week, when 9) will get/we’re getting the whole load of brochures from the tourist board we’ve asked for. We’d like to get as far as Russia but realistically I doubt that we 10) will have/are going to have enough time. I can’t wait!
In just over two month’s time we 11) have/will be having the time of our lives!
